  • After our presentation at the Conference on Intellectual Property, we listened to the keynote by James Boyle...

    I was frustrated by his tactic of arguing for the merging the commons with commerce. I understand the logic in this argument (take the hardest case first), but I agree with his student's comment that it seems pretty sad to have to relate everything to money and capitalism... I left the talk a little frustrated, and thinking that I'll have to return to a lot of what he presented to figure out why it frustrated me.
